The SANA is a professional association established to represent and promote the interests and practice of professional Naturopathy in South Africa and internationally.  It comprises a voluntary association of members and is administered by the National Executive Committee (NEC).

The NEC comprises a group of peer-elected Naturopaths, who serve the profession in a voluntary capacity, to realize the functions of the organisation.
