What do Naturopathic Doctors do?

Naturopaths collaborate with patients to educate, empower, support and treat them regarding personal healthcare management.  They assess health, identify underlying causes of illness, and address and treat the root cause(s) of conditions, irrespective of source.

At a time when modern technology, environmental pollution, poor diet, and stress play an enormous role in the degradation of health, a Naturopath's ability to apply natural methods of healing is of considerable importance.

A Naturopathic practitioner can often successfully pin-point a predisposition in the body, before the onset of acute disease, and treat the patient with specific therapies, remedies, and changes in nutrition and lifestyle, to prevent disease manifestation.

Using natural therapies, Naturopaths are able to successfully treat a wide range of both acute and chronic ailments, and is complementary to conventional and other health modalities.
